Relax, Stretch & Breathe Pregnancy Yoga
This class uses gentle yoga-based exercises and stretches to prepare you for birth.
As well as classic yoga poses, you’ll focus on positions for labour, breathing and relaxation techniques. The class is suitable for you from 12 weeks pregnant all the way until you give birth, regardless of your fitness level. No experience of yoga is necessary.
The class is a time to relax, focus on your new baby and think about your wishes for the birth, with practical tips and plenty of time to ask questions. It’s also a great opportunity to meet other expectant mums.

Mother & Baby Yoga
A unique and fun postnatal yoga class designed for mum and baby.
Here is a wonderful opportunity for you as a new mum to ease your way back into exercise after the birth of your baby. Discover how yoga can help you stretch, strengthen and tone your body.
Whether you are new to yoga or reconnecting with it, these classes will restore your sense of wellbeing. Just be sure you have had your six/eight week check from your GP before starting.
The sessions include gentle yoga for your baby so you can practise together. Music and rhymes throughout the class creates a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

- Strengthening and toning your muscles, especially abdominals, pelvic floor and back.

After a workshop you get access to a Facebook community group with meditations and relaxations, tips for baby massage and education on how to look after you knew families’ health naturally. It is also a great place you can ask for advice and get support from likeminded people.
We also teach pure essential oil workshops to empower you to look after yourself naturally through pregnancy, birth and beyond.
Post birth, you are welcome in Karen’s Hatha yoga classes to help you sleep well and keep present and regain your core strength. Karen is trained in pre/post-natal and baby yoga.

I qualified as a mat-based Pilates instructor in 2005 and have since seen the benefits of Pilates in many clients time after time.
I believe that in order to produce long lasting effects an instructor should explain how each exercise works and why it is of importance. Educating participants about their own body is the key to creating lasting changes and makes the difference between a good instructor and a great instructor! I am passionate about keeping up to date with my own training, as well as passing information on to participants. I run group classes as well as more specialist 1-2-1 sessions (pre/postnatal, The Pink Ribbon Program for post breast cancer rehab, Pilates for Osteoporosis) and I am also a qualified osteopath and university lecturer.
